Chess Club – Autumn Tournament

Cost: £4 per person
Extras: Bring your own snacks or money for the tuck shop
The Autumn District Chess Tournament this October is open to Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers, each competing in their own age divisions:

Cubs: 8–10½ years

Scouts: 10½–14 years

Explorers: 14–18 years
District trophies will be awarded in each division, with the winners’ names engraved for 2026. The tournament is fast-paced and fun, giving all participants the chance to play multiple games in a friendly, supportive environment.
Helpers are warmly welcome to assist as round supervisors or scorekeepers, making it a great opportunity to get involved and support the event.
From beginners to confident players, everyone will have the chance to test their skills, enjoy lively chess action, and be part of a fantastic Scouts community experience.
