SUMMARY:Supporting Neurodiversity Webinar - 1st May (part 1)
DESCRIPTION:An Introduction to Neurodiversity and SEN: Tools and strategies to support our young people\nWe’re pleased to launch a series of webinars for all volunteers focused on Neurodiversity and Special Education Needs (SEN). \nOne of the most common questions we get asked as the UK Inclusion team is how to support our Neurodiverse young people and leaders and we hope these series of webinars will provide you with the tools to support you. \nThe webinars will focus on a range of different subjects including programme and mental health. \n

SUMMARY:Gang Show Rehearsals
DESCRIPTION:As a brief backstory\, Scout and Guide Gangshows have been running worldwide for close to a hundred years\, and our Plymouth Gangshow this year celebrated our 38th Show. \nGangshow is an amateur variety show\, with our cast and crew aged from 5 upwards and all being members of either the Scouting or Guiding movements. We have performed throughout the city at a number of venues including the Plymouth Athenaeum theatre and Barbican theatre\, and in 2023 our Gangshow family was welcomed into the Devonport Playhouse for very the first time. We are very happy to be back at Devonport Playhouse for next year’s show taking place on 27th February to 1st March. \nRehearsals begin on Sunday 8th September (though if there is somebody interested in taking part but is unable to make the first rehearsal\, they can just come along the following week). \nTaking part in the Gangshow will earn first timers their Entertainers badge! (or Creative challenge for Beavers).
