DESCRIPTION:It’s A Knockout!\n12th July 2026 | Blindman’s Wood Scout Centre \nAfter a long break since 2019\, It’s A Knockout is back – and it’s set to be bigger\, sillier and more fun than ever. \nThis high-energy day is open to all sections of Scouts and Girlguiding. Teams of 4–7 players will take on 12 fun\, skill-based challenges\, competing for points across the day. Each team will also get a joker card to double their score on one game – so tactics matter just as much as teamwork. \nExpect a mix of returning favourites and brand new surprises\, including water balloon toss\, blind jigsaws and bungee ball challenges. \nThere’s a trophy for the overall winning team\, plus medals for 1st and 2nd place in each age group. \n\nEvent details\n\nDate: Sunday 12th July 2026\nLocation: Blindman’s Wood Scout Centre\, PL3 5TB\nCost: £1 per player\nArrival: 9:20 AM\nRegistration: 9:40 AM\nGames start: Around 10:00 AM\n\n\nWho can take part?\nSquirrels\, Beavers\, Cubs\, Scouts\, Explorers\, Volunteers\, Rainbows\, Brownies and Guides. \n\nHow to join\nYou can turn up on the day or let us know in advance if you’re bringing a team. \nBring your team spirit and get ready for a brilliant day of fun\, teamwork and a bit of chaos. \n\nBrought to you by 1st Keyham Scout Group

SUMMARY:Plymouth Squirrels 5th Birthday Party
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce the Plymouth Scouts Squirrel Birthday Party\, celebrating 5 years of Squirrels! \nLocation : Drakes Den Play Centre \nDate : Saturday 17th October \nTime : 5 – 7pm \nCost : £7.50 per person (Young People only) \n \nPlease ensure you confirm your spaces using the below form asap. The closing date for bookings is Sunday 20th September. \nSquirrels Birthday Celebration Saturday 17th October 2026 – Fill in form \nave also attached a poster for you to use to communicate with your families. \nFAQ \nParents are welcome to stay with their Squirrels\, but we would recommend no more than 1 parent per Squirrel to avoid overcrowding. \nOnce groups are booked we will send out the centres RA and Public Liability Insurance\, plus the district RA for the event. We would recommend that groups create their own RA\, especially for drop off and pick up. Please can these be sent to us once they have been completed. \nCost includes entry and a special edition Plymouth Scouts Birthday Badge. \nGroups are responsible for ensuring they are in ratio (1 to 4 plus Leader in Charge). District are able to provide a Leader in Charge\, but please do let us know if you require this. Whilst parents are welcome to stay\, we do require at least 2 Leaders from your group to attend. \nGroups are responsible for ensuring they have the relevant InTouch set up\, as well as details of your Young Peoples contact and relevant Medical Details. \nThere will be no food provided at this event\, but the cafe will be open. \nSocks are required for the centre\, we would encourage the Squirrels to wear their uniform. Please no neckers due to Health & Safety. \nUnfortunately we are unable to welcome siblings at this event due to venue space. The closing date for bookings is Sunday 25th October.
